Offensive Team Effort to Defeat U-BT Cluj-Napoca (108-80)

Valencia Basket secured its eleventh victory in the BKT EuroCup by defeating U-BT Cluj-Napoca 108-80 in a collective offensive effort, with eight players scoring in double digits. The win was largely determined by a record-breaking first half in which Valencia scored 73 points, setting the competition record for most points in a half. They achieved an impressive 16/18 on two-point field goals (making their first twelve shots inside the 3-point line) and 9/18 on three-pointers. Although their shooting efficiency dropped in the third quarter, and the visiting team recovered slightly, Valencia tightened up in the final period to maintain their lead, allowing Jorge Carot to make his debut and enter the Mur del Somnis. The only downside was that Chris Jones had to leave due to injury at the end of the third quarter.
